One of the most common causes of heel pain, but not the only one

  • 30 minutes

Service Description

Plantar Fasciitis is a sharp in the bottom of your foot, often along the arches and sometimes the heel too. It's usually at its worst when you begin to take your first steps in the morning, and after taking exercise. If left untreated, it may cause pain in the calf, knee and even the hips and lower back as you change the way you walk. Runners in particular may exacerbate the condition by wearing shoes that are marketed as providing arch support, but instead simply transfer the pain. Our podiatrists have extensive experience in diagnosing and treating plantar fasciitis, from identifying risk factors and comlcations to advising on suitable exercises, footwear and orthotics. Identified and treated early enough, we can help you stop it from becoming worse and get you back to your old self.
